Nokia N79 Mobile Phone Review

Nokia N79 is among the S60 Nokia series which have been available now for quite some time. Although some of the features from the older model have been retained in Nokia N79, there are a number of new and improved features which have been integrated; giving it a high-end touch. The gadget is run by the third edition of the Symbian S60 service pack 2. As a result, there are a number of things that are similar with the older models that run from the same operating system.

Nokia N79 has got a host of new-tech features; including a 5 megapixel, dual LED camera, a built-in wifi, GPRS, an accelerometer and a 2.4 inch sleek screen. Other integrated components include an FM radio, a Dual band UMTS or a Quad band GSM, a navigating wheel which is touch-sensitive, a head phone jack and a 1200 mAh battery. Nokia N79 has got a 4 GB microSD Memory card with it and supports additional cards of up to 8GB capacity. The phone is just for you when it comes to color themes; it has an xpress-on color covers which automatically changes from one color to another according to your favorite one.

When it comes to its face, Nokia N79 is a fashionable item; no matter the age bracket you belong. Figure out this; the gadget has a 16 million color screen sitting on top of a 2.4 inch panel. It is put a finishing touch by an earpiece, a crystal clear VGA color camera and an enveloping light sensor not to mention a well-laid alpha-numeric keypad and some hot keys. On the right side is a Nokia logo on the right side of the phone.

In normality, the phone has got a large screen, but with the coming of the iPhone, people are spoilt and may not realize it. The screen has got great readability of the fonts and the graphics are also well visible even in light. It emits some light brilliantly when its dark enabling you to see everything reasonably.

Looking at the multimedia functionality, the phone is well scoring compared to a host of other phones across the model. Nokia N79 does not have problems when it comes to connecting to devices or the network. It has a good wifi scanning and detection while the Frequency Modulator transmitter is good too. You can easily shoot your graphics and at the same time manage them using such tools as folders with great flexibility. Nokia is a definite worth to your bucks.

Waterproof Night Vision Scope

If you have ever played any of the brilliant Splinter Cell series of games, chances are that a night vision device has found it's way on to your Christmas list. Afterall, how else are you meant to take out those enemy guards whilst creeping around a darkened warehouse? What set's the Bushnell Seagull night vision scope apart from similar devices is that fact that it is also water proof and floats making it the perfect choice for those water-based missions (as well as more mundane activities like sailing and fishing). As well as amplifiying even minimal amounts of light, such as moonlight, the Seagull night vision scope includes an integral infra red lamp. This means that, unlike inferior scopes, it can operate in total darkness as well. Related Links Spy Gadgets

SanDisk Sansa Fuze Review

The Sansa Fuze from SanDisk, is a cool little MP3/4 player along the same vein as the iPod Nano. We’ve recently been sent one to play with so here are our thoughts and findings (or a review so to speak). Aesthetically the Fuze is a cute little player. The physical UI consists of a rotating front dial which also acts as the 4 navigation buttons with the center button for selection. The display crisp with a resolution of 220 x 176, large enough for watching the odd music video but you wouldn’t want to watch a feature length film on it. Sound quality was good (though as with just about any MP3 player the supplied headphones aren’t the greatest). What most impressed me about the Fuze are the extra features that you don’t find on other (note iPod) players, including: Built in microphone FM radio microSD Slot, a really cheap way to expand the capacity Easy to transfer files (drag and drop) without the need of propriety software Though there are a few downsides: Propriety USB connectio...
