Sony innovative rechargeable batteries for longer operations


Sony rechargeable batteries Sony has revealed an innovative kind of lithium ion rechargeable batteries. As a cathode these futuristic batteries use Olivine type Lithium Iron Phosphate that makes them capable to last longer while still demonstrating high power. These useful batteries are able to be charged faster so you might not be scared anymore that your trendy gadgets will rapidly go flat.

These smart batteries feature power density of 1800 W / kg while their operation is enlarged and offer 80 percent capacity retention after 2000 work cycles. The operating time is enlarged for more than 4 times and you need not spend a lot of time charging them as 30 minutes is enough to fully charge them. These batteries offer powerful performance even on rugged temperature conditions.

Sony’s innovative rechargeable batteries are expected to be available in July so be ready for easy charging of your portable devices. Energy density is 95 Wh / kg while a battery weight amounts to 40 g. The Sony’s new battery measures 65 mm in height and 18 mm in diameter. These intelligent batteries are rated to be greener as the recharging time is reduced while operation is increased. Now you can easily keep your gadgets well charged with no trouble at all.
