CECT W100 Wrist Watch.

A common theme you see on gadget blogs like ours is cool tech found overseas which may or may not ever make it to America. A new example of this is the minimal geek looking CECT W100 Wrist Watch. The CECT W100 Wrist Watch, designed by Qiao Xing Mobile Communication of China, is believed to be the first watch phone in that large Asian country. It comes in seven colors and sports a nice LCD touch screen with which to control its functions. Though no specifics were given by its designers about its phone network capabilities it was said the phone will come with 1GB of built-in memory and supports Bluetooth. Other features on this wrist phone include audio/video file viewing, FM radio and a 1.3-megapixel digital camera. No pricing or availability information was specifically announced for the United States, though it was mentioned it will be available in stores in mid-September. Perhaps an importer will pick it up if it’s not released here directly? One can only hope…

Samsumg Pixon 8MP Cam and Touch Screen

Samsung is launching an 8.0-megapixel camera phone Europe and Asia, allowing people to use touch screen features for a more camera-like feel.
&amp;amp;amp;lt;a href='http://ads.mobiledia.com/adclick.php?n=af1eff4f' target='_blank'&amp;amp;amp;gt;&amp;amp;amp;lt;img src='http://ads.mobiledia.com/adview.php?what=zone:12&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;n=af1eff4f' border='0' alt=''&amp;amp;amp;gt;&amp;amp;amp;lt;/a&amp;amp;amp;gt;
Korea-based Samsung said the Pixon is its slimmest 8.0-megapixel camera phone yet, measuring just 13.8mm. It features a 16x digital zoom, auto-focus, fast-shutter, face detection and geo-tagging and comes with a 3.2-inch full-touch screen and integrated Photo Browser for photo sharing and viewing. HTC Touch Review

ince the TouchFLO technology takes care of most of the operations on the Touch, HTC was able to keep the phone itself very simple. There are only three buttons on the front face of the phone: a green-lit talk key, a red-lit end key, and a large silver navigation and "enter" key between them. The multi-directional navigation part of this key allows users to move right, left, up and down, and then make a selection by pressing the "enter" key at the center. This key is convenient, and allows users to choose between touching the screen and using the key to navigate through some of the phone's functions. In terms of design, it makes the Touch a little chunkier than the sleeker iPhone navigation key, which is one simple button in the same location near the bottom of the phone. The smooth black exterior of the phone seems well-made and does not pick up marks or s
