Kyocera NS01 Cell Phone

Kyocera unleashed an interesting phone, Kyocera NS01, which comes with an integrated belt. With this, you can directly attached the handset to your belt and also, you don’t have to buy additional leather case (that has strap belt). Regarding specs, there’s nothing special on it, as it only comes with those basic features. Including a 2.8-inch QVGA display, a 1.97MP camera module, and support for e-wallet. Want one?

Sony Ericsson S001 Cell Phone

Your webmaster search is: new computer gadgets Sony Ericsson presented its new 8 megapixel Cyber-Shot camera phone in Japan, S001 . Like the company’s first 8MP handset, this cell phone also has a host of great photography features, such as AF (AutoFocus), face recognition, Smile Shutter, and ISO up to 1600. As you can see from the picture, it also has a handy lens cover that protect the lens from dust. Once you take your shot, you can display the result on its 3.3-inch WVGA OLED display or transfer it to your PC (or your friends’) via Bluetooth. No WiFI though, so you still have to use your computer to show off your latest photos on Facebook.

Sharp SH001 Cell Phone

Your webmaster search is: new computer gadgets With the popularity of Samsung’s 8MP camera phone (Innov8 and Pixxon), as well as Sony Ericsson’s C905 phone, more handset companies start working on this higher-resolution camera phone. Sharp for example. Just recently, they unleased the new Sharp SH001 cell phone which boasts an 8.1-megapixel camera module with AF, face recognition function, and ISO up to 2500. Measures 48 x 11 x 16.6mm and weighs 124 grams, it also features a mobile ASV WVGA display, support for LISMO and VOD AOD services, E-Wallet, and improved call quality, thanks to its noise cancellation and clear voice functions.

Buffalo FTD-W71 External USB Display

Many video editing or 3D animation software nowadays support the usage of two monitors. However, not many of us, who want to take the full advantages of those apps, have enough money to buy a secondary display monitor. The solution to this problem is to use an external USB display, which is kind of getting popular lately. One of them is the FTD-W71 USB External Display from Buffalo. It sports a 7-inch screen, a resolution of WVGA (800×480), and a contrast ratio of 500:1. Might not be the best choice outthere, but for its price, you can’t really complaint a lot.

Hitachi WOOO Ketai H001 Cell Phone

Your webmaster search is: new computer gadgets Measures 51 x 111 x 18.6mm and weighs 145 grams, Hitachi’s WOOO Ketai H001 is a great cell phone featuring a great 3D display and a 5 megapixel camera module with AF function. One can enjoy its 3D capabilities while displaying their photos or watching videos. And that’s thanks to the company’s 3.1-inch screen (845 x 480 resolution) that comes integrated with IPS technology. Sounds good, really curious what 3D display looks like on a mobile handset…

MSI U120 Netbook

Your webmaster search is: new computer gadgets On the recent CES 2009 event in Las Vegas, MSI proudly presented one of its first line-up of WiMax-ready mini laptop , the U120 netbook . WiMax technology offers up to 70Mbps transfer rate (six times than standard 802.11 WiFI) and covers about 50KM square (500 times than WiFI). This guarantee a blazing fast download speed on the go wherever WiMax signal detected. Pretty cool, isn’t it? The company also promises that more WiMax-capable notebooks will be released later this year, so if you prefer to own a standard laptop than a netbook, just wait for a couple of months.

L Espion S Digital Camera

Small digital cameras are everywhere these days, but few are as cool as the L'Espion S Digital Camera. Disguised as a Zippo style lighter, the L'Espion S is tiny, yet still includes an impressive line-up of features including video mode, web cam mode, built in USB port and 8mb of memory and "surveilance mode". Pretty impressive stuff. The 640x480 resolution is enough for most covert uses, as well as a few practical ones. As much of a talking point as it is a camera, we reckon the L'Espion S is outstanding as both! Related Links Spy Gadgets

X-plane - Remote Control Spy Plane

Remote controlled planes are cool, but let's face it hold limited appeal for those blessed with nano-second attention spans like the Pointless team. However, bolt on a digital camera and suddenly you have your own remotely operated spy plane: The perfect remedy for our A.D.D! Suddenly a few loops of the car park are transformed into a sophisticated recon mission and a short flight on the beach is transformed into remote bikini appraisal - who could ever get bored of this??? The plane itself is light and easy to pilot with the included "four-channel digital proportional control" (whatever that is). The control also gives you access to the X-plane's impressive extra features. As well as a digital camera the X-plane also comes equipped with it's own minature spy plane, capsule bomb and paratrooper - all of which can be released remotely v

Waterproof Night Vision Scope

If you have ever played any of the brilliant Splinter Cell series of games, chances are that a night vision device has found it's way on to your Christmas list. Afterall, how else are you meant to take out those enemy guards whilst creeping around a darkened warehouse? What set's the Bushnell Seagull night vision scope apart from similar devices is that fact that it is also water proof and floats making it the perfect choice for those water-based missions (as well as more mundane activities like sailing and fishing). As well as amplifiying even minimal amounts of light, such as moonlight, the Seagull night vision scope includes an integral infra red lamp. This means that, unlike inferior scopes, it can operate in total darkness as well. Related Links Spy Gadgets

The Ultimate Torch

First of all, if you are willing to spend a few grand on a torch, you are a fool. Once you know what this thing can do you will realise it might be worth it, but you easily just bodge something together your self. The torch outputs 85,000 candle power, that's pretty bright I think! As well as bright normal light it can output the same power but using infra-red light. You might be thinking why has it got infra-red? humans cannot see infra-red but, cameras can. Yes, that's right! this torch has a camera built in to it. So effectively you can take pictures in pitch black. Great stuff. The camera can store up to 2 hours of video and a whole bunch of still images. Are you starting to see why it is called the Ultimate Torch? I sure am. It gets even more ultimate! The torch will allow you to see what you are taking a video of or taking a picture of with the 1.5" built in pop-out LCD screen. Amazing! I may seemed to have got a bit excited about that, I still think you are ma

Fisheye Lens Camera

Enter the worlds first Fisheye camera... Ahem.. You might be asking yourself what is a fisheye lens. Well let me explain. Its basically a lens which can see everything within a 170-degree view, so if you were to put the camera up to your mates nose, it would see his nose (perfectly focused) and then 170-degrees around him as well (also perfectly focused) Unfortunately this is not a digital camera, so you'd have to be all old-fashioned again and go down to your local photo development shop to get the pics developed. Once done however, the photos produce a brilliant round effect with everything in sight, which surprisingly is all in focus thanks to its massive depth of field. As said, this camera isn't digital which we're a bit disappointed about (let's face it, if it was then this would be seriously cool), but that said this camera takes normal films so there's no worry about getting special-high-p

Digital Photo Frame

So, you've taken some great digital photos: What are you going to do with them now? Print them yourself and end up with poor quality prints that you don't know what to do with? Send them off to an expensive photo lab then stick them in a tatty old album? Just leave them on your PC and force the family to gather around the screen in the spare room when you want to show off your holiday snaps? Let's face it - you need a better way to show off your digital photos. The PC1 Digital Photo Album finally brings photo display into the same century as digital photography. Simply pop your camera's memory card into the unit and it will start playing a slideshow of your photos in vivid, high-resolution colour. Try getting your battered old photo album to display video and you are going to encounter problems, but not with the PV1 Digital Photo Album. It'll play your digital videos (with sound) as easily as it will photos, and even works as an MP3 player.

Athens Olympic Sized Monitor

We've all had moments when our screens aren't big enough. You have the work you are pretending to do open in one window, your google search for a new job in another, two mates chatting on MSN and suddenly you are left with barely enough room to open up the dubious images that and old school-chum had emailed you. The fact is, that standard monitors might be OK if you intend to actually get your work done, but they just don't cut it when compared to the reality of the modern workplace. What you need is more screen real-estate and lots of it. Enter the Athens monitor, which with its incredible 19200 x 2400 Pixels kicks sand in the face of lesser screens claiming to be "high resolution". Five high-resolution LCD flat-panel screens are combined in a stylish aluminium frame to create the closest thing you'll find to IMAX on your own desktop.

Nokia 6208c announced in China

Nokia was keeping us interested in its premieres all-round the year 2008 and the very last presentation of Nokia's smartphone was held on the 31st of December, right before the New Year. At the ceremony in Nanjing, China, Nokia unveiled the 6208c mobile phone. The place for the presentation was not chosen accidentally of course. Many of those who follow major events in the world of gadgets might have become desperate to see any recent novelty before it appears in China, but Nokia 6208c is not likely to go round world markets – China will be the first and one of the few 6208c's markets. This point is founded in the concept of the smartphone, in its Asian design, or may be in the fact that 6208c is a testing platform of new touchscreen capabilities. read more

Motorized Pro-Motion keyboard

Computer experience is a truly hazardous thing to human's health in long-term outlook. No need to name all the harm day-to-day hours at computer can do. It comes from practically every gear whether it is a monitor, or a keyboard and even system block can get on nerves with too loud sound or even smell sometimes. However, a probable solution to cure RSI and CTS we normally get from our keyboards have already arrived. RSI and CTS are medical terms for Repetitive Strain Injury and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Overall they mean that wrists are harmed by computer work and there hardly is a cure except for giving up PC work maybe. This is much easier to prevent this sort of things rather then to cope with as they occur, so Smartfish Technologies made their own user-friendly keyboard. It is called the Pro-Motion keyboard. read more
